Hush Puppies believes in comfort, color, and optimism. After the past couple years, we believe comfort is more important than ever. Whether it’s a hug from your mom or a cozy pair of Hush Puppies slippers. Getting cozy, comfortable and connecting with others is important for our daily lives and well-being.

Family therapist Virginia Satir once said, “We need 4 hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth.”

It’s been proven that hugging for longer is actually better. When people hug for 20 seconds or more it creates a stronger bond and connection between the huggers, boosts the immune system and reduces stress. – Harvard

So, this holiday season, hug your pet, your partner, or your vaccinated best friend and start feeling a little more optimistic.
